Slider
Just the product image, full size, with arrows and dots to move between photos — no thumbnails at all. The cleanest layout there is.
The Slider layout shows one photo at a time. Shoppers move through the others with the arrows on the image, the dots (called pagination) or by swiping on a phone. With no thumbnail strip, the image gets the whole gallery area.
The free plugin doesn't include this layout; it ships Thumbs Bottom and Thumbs Top.

When to choose it
- Your products have only a few photos. Two or three images don't need a thumbnail strip — a slider looks finished where a half-empty strip wouldn't.
- You want a minimal page. No strip means less visual noise around the product.
- You care about space on phones. Without thumbnails, the gallery is only as tall as the image.
How to switch to it
- Go to FluentCart → Product Gallery → General.
- Under Gallery Layout, click Slider.
- Click Save Settings.
Settings that appear for this layout
On the General tab, the thumbnail options disappear. What's left are the options that apply to every layout:
- Gallery Bottom Gap, Gallery Image Caption and Gallery Image Source. See Gallery image.
The real controls for this layout live on the Gallery tab:
- Gallery Slider — autoplay, sliding effect, height, loop.
- Navigation & Pagination — the arrows and dots. With no thumbnails, these are the only way to move between photos, so make sure at least one of them is on.
- Product Image — image size, lazy load, rounded corners.
Sub-tabs hidden for this layout
- Thumbnails Navigation — there's no thumbnail strip to navigate.
- Show More Button — grid layouts only.
Things worth knowing
- Shoppers can't see how many photos there are unless pagination is showing. In Pro, Pagination Visibility defaults to On Hover, which means phone shoppers don't see the dots until they tap. For this layout, consider setting it to Always, or choose a pagination style like Flexing Fraction that shows "2 / 5".
- Turning off both arrows and pagination leaves swiping as the only way to move — fine on a phone, invisible on a desktop. Keep at least one on.
