The settings pages tell you what every option does. These tutorials build three complete looks from start to finish and explain why each choice was made. That way you can adapt them to your own store, not just copy them.

Before you start any of them

• Smart Product Gallery installed and showing on your product pages. On a block theme, do the template step first.
• A product with at least five or six images, preferably the same shape. Galleries look their best with more than two photos.
• A second browser tab open on that product, so you can refresh it after each Save Settings.

All three tutorials use Pro features: layouts beyond Thumbs Bottom and Top, the lightbox, and the Outside zoom style. On the free plugin you can still follow the general approach with the options you have.

Your settings are store-wide

Each tutorial changes the gallery for every product, not only the one you're testing on. If you're experimenting on a live store, do it at a quiet time. You can always put a tab back with Reset Tab.
